Shaunae Motley

Shaunae Motley, Director of Programs

As an emerging 21st century woman of purpose and passion, Shaunae Motley has been a champion for youth development and family strengthening for well over a decade. She is a senior-level executive with demonstrated success in transforming operational and cultural results. Having led multiple federal and state grant programs, she is also skilled in strengthening internal and external organizational capacities.

 

Before joining Quest, Shaunae was Chief Operating Officer of Future Foundation where she helped grow the once grassroots organization from a fledging entity to a multi-million dollar, nationally recognized nonprofit. She has also worked with Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Atlanta; the Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County (Georgia); and the Bulloch County School System.

 

Outside of work, Shaunae volunteers her time with many community and faith-based service organizations. She serves on the Council on Accreditation’s National After-School Endorsement Team, Department of Juvenile Justice’s Atlanta YDC Advisory Council, and Lindsay Street Baptist Church Youth Ministry.

 

Ms. Motley earned a degree in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University and also holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School. Shaunae strongly believes that it is the community’s responsibility to support effective change. She pursues her mission of public service through her many community revitalization and development projects. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her daughter, Sanaa Lauren.

Angel Young

Angel Young, Program Coordinator

Angel Young currently works as a program coordinator for Quest for Change, Inc. She is originally from Atlanta, GA and currently lives in Albany, GA. She has been working with youth and youth adults for 20 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from GA State University, Master’s degree in Educational Management from Strayer University, and is working towards completion of her Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Capella University. She has experience working as a therapist with adjudicated youth (Department of Juvenile Justice) and one of the largest dropout prevention agencies (Communities in Schools of Atlanta) as a graduation Coach. Her passion is to continue serving youths and their families and to offer various levels of support to ensure that they are successful overall. She is looking forward to continuing making an impact within the communities currently being served.

Maranda Canty

Maranda Canty, Program Data Assistant

Maranda Canty currently serves as the Program Data Assistant with Quest For Change, Inc. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Health both from Florida State University. Maranda has gained experience with collecting and analyzing data as well as working with underserved populations throughout her career. She has been trained to teach various evidenced based curricula and has gained knowledge in abstinence education and healthy relationships. She is passionate about helping others and making a positive impact in their lives.

Sharon Bryant

Sharon Bryant, Community Action Team Leader

Sharon Bryant is from Cuthbert, GA and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She graduated from Andrew College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood also from Albany State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and from Troy University with a Master’s Degree in Education/Counseling. She has worked in elementary, middle-high schools and also college Trio Programs.  She has over fifteen years of experience working with diverse populations and at risk youth. She has a passion and commitment to work within the communities to ensure that it is productive and successful for all citizens.  She has a son and an amazing granddaughter in which she loves spending quality time with. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening, and playing strategy games on Facebook.

Joseph Frelot holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and Christian Counseling from Vision Christian International University and was ordained and licensed under LESEA Ministries (Lester Sumrall Evangelistic Association). Joseph has 18 years of public service working as a Social Worker/Case Manager providing in-home support, counseling and case management through Family Preservations, Foster Care and Adoption Promotion and Support Services. He’s also served as the Certified Breakthrough Parent Educator for the Institute for Black Parenting and is a Certified Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) Consultant in Southwest GA. His years of experience caring for families within the church and public sector provides a unique and strong knowledge base needed to help families seeking to apply the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding needed to sustain strong healthy relationships.

Ashley Williams, Youth Family Development Specialist

Ashley Williams currently serves a Youth and Family Development Specialist at Quest For Change, Inc.  After graduating high school, she attended Columbus State University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She also holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Georgia Southwestern University.  She is currently attending Albany State University where she is working on completing a Master’s in Education in School Counseling.  Ashley has received extensive training in evidence-based curricula and healthy relationships.  She hopes to continue inspiring and educating youth to make positive changes for the future.

Ashley Jimmerson, Youth Family Development Specialist

Ashley Jimmerson serves as a Youth Family Development Specialist at Quest for Change. She also serves as a Youth Council Leader, positively impacting the lives of teens. Ashley was born and raised in Albany, GA. After graduating high school Ms. Jimmerson furthered her education at Columbus State University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Health Science. Ashley has been volunteering and giving back to her community at an early age and has plans to continue this great deed. She has served as an intern for multiple public health facilities giving her the knowledge and understanding of the severity of STD/HIV rates in South Georgia.  Ms. Jimmerson has been thoroughly trained in various evidence based curriculum. She is determined to continuously give back to her community and educate today’s youth by preparing them for a successful future.

Ricketta McCoy

Ricketta McCoy, Youth Family Development Specialist

Ricketta currently serves as a Youth Development Specialist for Quest for Change, Inc., its overall purpose is to assist individuals and families by encouraging personal and social change in hopes to enhance human well-being. Ricketta has spent over14 years working in the field of public service. Ricketta has served in multiple capacities with several State of Georgia agencies including: Georgia Department of Family & Children Services, Georgia Department of Human Services, Georgia Department of Corrections and Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.  Ricketta has a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology and a Master of Science Degree in Post-Secondary Education, she is currently pursuing a Master’s in Social Work from Albany State University.  Ricketta’s love for people and passion for working with under privileged populations drives her commitment to service.
